Born Harrison Coleman May 19 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Thrilla began rapping at the age of 13. Growing up life was hard agrees Thrilla, “Constantly moving from hood to hood, going to different schools, fights, and eviction notices” At age 10, his parents divorced leaving him without much of a father figure, he turned to the streets. Thrilla began hustling just to put clothes on his back and shoes on his feet.

Not knowing a studio existed Thrilla freestyled for his classmates and neighborhood friends where he gained street respect. At age 17, Thrilla and friends formed a group and recorded their first song. The group did not last long but they remained friends. As a solo artist, Thrilla began doing talent shows, open mic contests, and opening up for various local artists. His catchy hit single at the time caught eyes of many local DJs. Things seemed as if they were working out for the best. His daughter was born within months, which Thrilla describes as “A life-changing experience.” He dropped out of high school to begin work to support his daughter.

Years later, Thrilla was still working towards his dream of becoming a Rapper. Finally noticed by a local independent label, Thrilla signed with Big Faces Entertainment and began working on his next single and Mixtape. Thrilla, who is often categorized with artists such as T.I., Lil’ Boosie, and Lil’ Wayne for his unique, southern style and energetic performances can not only can rap but loves to act.
