Timeka began writing she was 11 years old. She actively seeks mentoring from established poets and writers, and says that her favorite poet is Maya Angelou. Timeka enjoys writing about life situations. She has performed at The TruNiVerse Explosion and come under the tutelage of local giant, "Tru Sista". She plans to continue her education and pursue a degree in Literature.
