Minister Smith has been singing for the Lord since the age of five. He has sung with several groups, choirs and ensembles. He started using his gift at the North Richmond Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of the late Sister Doris Williams (Minister of Music). During his time at N.R.M.B.C. he sang under Michael Butler, Timothy Winn, and Dennis Braxton to name a few. Some of the artists he has been blessed to sing with are Luther Vandross, Pattie La Bell, Dorothy Morrison, Jennifer Holiday, Howard Hewitt, Lenny Williams, TJ Ensemble, Robert Weaver and the Weaver Corral, John Fullard and the Voices, Leon Mitchell and Anointed, Alfreda Mitchell and Success. He is currently working on his first Solo CD project.
