Mizz Tazz

From Los Angeles Ca., currently residing in Shreveport, La. During her early life, Tazz lived in several locations in the Southern Ca. area, moved to Shreveport during junior high for a short period, returned to Southern Ca., and recently settled back in Shreveport. During elementary school, Tazz, and her nephew, Deondre', following the family tradition, became involved music, and classical dance forms (modern dance and tap dancing). Tazz started as a freestylist, but in her late teens she began writing lyrics and was introduced to the serious end of the music industry. She enjoyed several opportunities to travel and familiarize herself with the life and flow of the artists she came in contact with. Things picked up as she entered and won (some) talent contests, met mainstream artists, and participated in local venues and shows. Tazz readily gives all praise to God for making it possible for a hardworking, single mother, to handle her responsibilities and still find time to pursue her dream. Tazz is humble, well grounded, and sees her future as one of being a beacon for others. She is determined to demonstrate that nothing should stop anyone from pursuing their goal. "It's not about the fame, or the glory," says the young mother of one, "It's about helping and inspiring others. It's about lifting others."
