Jakori started pursing his musical career when a local singing group asked him to join. Later they moved to L.A. and signed a record deal with a Chicago independent label. Ja-Kori being the writer in the group learned how to vibe to different types of music such as Jazz, House, Blues, and Alternative Rock....After leaving Los Angeles, Ja-Kori then moved to Dallas ,TX and got with producers Madukwu Chinwah and Therelee Washington. Inspired by a few of the greats like: Frankie Beverly, Bob Marley, Ron Isley. Laced with Hip-Hop, Ja-Kori has created a sound that enters the ear and explodes throughout the pores of your soul.
